The Liverpool second choice goalkeeper, Caoimhin Kelleher could be on his way to leave the club after a linked move with another team. He showed that he is a top class goalkeeper and of course he would want his full potential to be shown on the pitch, rather than only starting when Alisson gets injured or is not available to start.
The Irish wall has already showed his talents in this season, having 27 appearances for Liverpool and in every single one of them his performances were truly amazing. In the first matches most of the reds fans couldn’t trust him as the first goalkeeper, but during the season Alisson’s the absence was not noticed.
In the latest interview, Caoimhin Kelleher told everyone that his desire is to become the number one goalkeeper in the Liverpool squad and he knows that this can be one of the hardest challenges when you have a great goalkeeper in team like Alisson Becker.
He didn’t rule out the possibility of leaving Liverpool and he is waiting for offers in the next few weeks because until now the club was busy after Jurgen Klopp left and the new manager Arne Slot was appointed. When everything will be more quiet, Kelleher’s agent will start to listen to the offers.
