The 23 year old, who plays as a right back could open space for Trent Alexander-Arnold so he could move into the midfield position. Liverpool’s second captain has already showed how good he can be in the middle of the field and that would be a massive chance for him to be one of the best in the world in that position.
Geertruida had a great season with 9 goals and 5 assists in his 47 apperances for the team. He has already played under Arne Slott and the relationship they have between each other can be a big reason why the dutchman can succeed at the scouse club.
Lutsharel Geertruida is also the first of all the fullbacks in Eredivisie when it comes to the passes, goals, shots, expected goals, passes to final third, accurate passes and accurate progressive passes.
Liverpool should try and go for the player because of the cheap price in the next transfer window. Arne Slott already has a team full of superstars and adding Geertruida too would be something special.
