Leicester City wants to sign Liverpool flop this summer

Leicester City have bolstered their squad with the signings of Michael Golding, Caleb Okoli, Abdul Fatawu, and Bobby De Cordova-Reid as they gear up for their return to the Premier League. Despite these additions, the newly promoted side faces a challenging summer, having lost manager Enzo Maresca and key midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to Chelsea.

To steer the club through this transitional period, Steve Cooper has been appointed as the new manager. However, the Foxes still need to secure a few more signings to ensure their Premier League survival. One potential target is former Liverpool midfielder Arthur Melo, who struggled during his loan spell at Anfield but has since rejuvenated his career with an impressive stint at Fiorentina.

According to reports from Tutto Sport, Leicester are in discussions with Juventus regarding a move for the Brazilian midfielder. Arthur’s brief appearance for Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp didn’t go as planned, but his resurgence in Italy has caught the eye of Leicester’s new management.

Everton are also reportedly interested in Arthur, adding competition for his signature. With ongoing discussions between both Premier League clubs and Juventus, Leicester hope to fill the gap left by Dewsbury-Hall’s departure before the new season kicks off.
