In a shocking incident during a youth team match in Brazil, a goalkeeper was shot with a rubber bullet by a police officer. The Brazilian police have launched an investigation into the occurrence, which took place during a game between Gremio Anapolis and Centro Oeste.
According to the Brazilian newspaper Globo, the match ended with a 2-1 victory for Centro Oeste. However, tensions boiled over after the final whistle, leading to a scuffle on the field. During the altercation, a police officer was seen shooting a rubber bullet at Gremio Anapolis goalkeeper Ramon Souza.
The footage shows Souza limping away from the scene, clearly in pain from the shot. Gremio Anapolis has since confirmed that Souza received medical treatment for the injury to his leg.
